April 2018 Update:

The study began in 2007.
Nine rounds of public consultation were held over the 2007 – 2013 period.
MTO is currently updating traffic forecasts and reviewing the preliminary study recommendations.
Pending the results of this current work, the study will conclude with the filing of a Transportation Environmental Study Report (TESR) pending the outcome of Step 5 (study process).
